When you are beginning a new children’s ministry where there hasn’t been a CM Director before, you must do so slowly, carefully and with much prayer. Those who have been serving in the ministry can be your best “ambassadors” for the changes and structure you will establish. They can also fight against your plans if they don’t feel valued. To move too slowly or too quickly can both cause stress. Ask God to direct your steps!
